Friends of QWPL
Friends of the Quinte West Public Library is a volunteer, non-profit group that was started in 1993 and has been actively supporting and advocating for the library since that time. Since its inception the Friends have donated over $100,000 for books and materials to the library. We are very proud of the efforts of so many volunteers over the years. Our goal is to enhance the library's collection by providing materials which are not covered by the annual budget. Each year the library staff prepares a 'Wish List' of materials that are needed. Friends' executives review this request and tries to provide some of these items.
